Coordinate purchasing functions for a set of vendors, both DC replenishment and direct vendor buys to Blick stores. Lead a team of Demand Planners and Purchasing Associates’ daily functions to ensure that deadlines and issues are met in a timely basis.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase product into Distribution Centers and Retail locations for set of vendors.
• Guide and train team of Demand Planners and Purchasing associates.
• Oversee workload of respective team ensuring deadlines are met.
• Suggest ideas to develop and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
• Coordinate department projects for the team to improve Purchasing operations.
• Analyze vendors lead time, fill rate and freight costs, suggesting ideas for improvement.
• Communicate and resolve vendor issues.
• Implement EDI set up and troubleshoot errors with vendors.
• Troubleshoot system issues in CW, MMS or E3.
• Manage omnichannel implementation of new product inventory.
• Manage inventory needs for marketing promotions.
• Travel to stores or vendors as needed.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of Supply Chain, Forecasting or Business Experience
• Leadership or Supervisory Experience

Skill Requirements:

• High proficiency in Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable and results oriented.
• Experience with Blue Yonder products, specifically MMS and AWR/E3
