The Retail Marketing Specialist requires strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task on a variety of projects. This position will report to the Senior Retail Marketing Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Execute retail promotions.
• Set up retail emails and track email reporting weekly.
• Review and fulfill retail sponsorship requests along with tracking.
• Maintain various email Inboxes and respond or route requests/questions to appropriate parties.
• Set up local coupons and flyers for store and tradeshow requests.
• Assist and coordinate marketing deliverables to support retail chain with execution of in-store and out-of-store events, including store contests, national campus outreach efforts, and local store requests.
• Execute local advertising opportunities.
• Maintenance of retail store listings on DickBlick.com and third-party websites, including store announcements and hours.

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Organizational time management expertise and attention to details.
• Ability to work independently as well as being responsive to needs of other groups/departments.
• Comfortable working with and presenting ideas to senior level management.
• Microsoft Office skills required and experienced using Excel for data analysis is a requirement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing or Communications degree preferred.
• 1-3 years previous work experience in marketing, retail, sales, or related field.
• Interest in or knowledge of the arts, art education, or art materials a plus.
• Occasional travel required.
