The Business Accounts Assistant provides account and order entry and order maintenance support for our wholesale business partners. As a member of the Wholesale Sales team within the Institutional Sales Department, this position will receive daily direction from the Business Accounts Coordinator and Wholesale Sales Manager. The successful candidate will exhibit polished customer service skills and keen attention to detail. They will be experienced in data entry, order processing, and basic spreadsheet operations. A working knowledge of Blick’s products and ordering tools is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, professional support to wholesale customers via phone and email.
• Enter orders with speed and accuracy.
• Use web and spreadsheet tools along with general product knowledge to match products via UPC, manufacturer sku, and other identifiers.
• Prepare required customer documentation, including detailed item information, Proforma invoices, and commercial invoices.
• Maintain customer account details to record and execute customer-specific instructions.
• Assess customer needs and communicate pricing, availability, expected delays, or other relevant information.
• Follow up with customers to gather additional information related to orders or inquiries.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations as needed.
• Able to work Monday - Friday 8a to 4:30p with overtime during brief peak seasons
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Proficiencies & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound decision-making ability.
• Clear and effective written, verbal, instructional, and informational communication skills.
• Proficiency with keyboarding and 10-key number pad.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for basic tasks such as filtering, searching, and simple calculations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform with high efficiency while maintaining detail and accuracy

Pay Rate:

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
